Math Intervention

This year at GCHS a new program for math has been introduced, called “Math Intervention”. According to Becky Doud, math teachers determine who needs it based on skills.

It takes place during TEAM and study hall. Students receive the class printed on their schedule they must go to.

It brings in students that are struggling right away to immediately fix the problem instead of it coming up again later.

It is a “more one on one type of environment” says Becky Doud,  GCHS staff member of sixteen years. It is a more individualized approach to suit that student’s needs. The program is a huge success and will continue to help students grow academically.
