    Try has made it easier for students to act deceptively. AI is an easy out to write an easy essay, diminishing the integrity of their work. AI has advanced so much that it is not simple to differentiate between humans and AI. GCHS English teacher, Ms.Weaver, claims sometimes she “…can’t tell if a student used AI or not.” This is problematic. According to neaToday “More than one-fourth of teachers have caught students using the chatbot to cheat” This creates a void in the learning department taking away originality in students’ writing. AI allows students to collaborate with peers, and create new content areas. However, students may develop a dependency on AI to finish school work. In summary, chat GPT is negatively impacting students, they are using it as cheating, not a studying tool.
