Jada+Pinkett+Smith+-+Worthy
Mikayla Sekulich

Worthy is a story that was created by Jada Pinkett Smith that explains her life from her parent’s divorce, drug dealing, her inconsistencies with relationships, and having her children. Jada brings the readers along with her on her crazy ride of life and leaves them feeling motivated and inspired. Jada goes into depth with her writing for readers to get a good understanding of her jampacked life. Especially when she finds out her parents are going through a divorce; she is confused and doesn’t understand everything at her young age. In between chapters, she includes inspirational quotes from various creators and motivational notes addressed to readers to motivate them to keep moving forward. This book is perfect for anyone who wants to know more about Jada, and who doesn’t after Time Magazine labeled her one of the top 100 most influential people of 2021? This review gets a 4 out of 5 stars because it gives readers good information about Jada’s life and the battles that came with it; and how to overcome your weaknesses.

Hi! I'm Mikayla Sekulich a senior. I joined journalism because, during my sophomore year, my amazing English teacher convinced me to join journalism. I decided to give it a shot, to get out of my comfort zone and try something completely new. I immediately learned I had an eye for photography. This class made me realize that I want to study graphic design and photography in college. Thank you Mrs. Maestranzi for everything and for pushing me in the right direction. Journalism is important so people can share their voices. An interesting fact about me is I play volleyball!
