As school starts and summer fades, we begin to feel like it’s impossible to find time to sit down and watch a tv show. With all of our homework, sports and clubs, free time just isn’t as accessible as it was during the summer. Even if we did get some free time, what would we watch? That’s what I’m here to answer! Today, we are going to take a trip down memory lane as we recognize the actors and actresses that starred in popular films we all enjoyed as children, and are coming into new films we will enjoy as teenagers. We all remember the movie “BeetleJuice”. Starring in that classic movie was Winona Ryder, adopting role of Lydia Deetz, the gothic teenage daughter of Delia and Charles Deetz. Today, she plays the role of Joyce Byers in “Stranger Things”. Not too long after “Stranger Things” was introduced, “Riverdale”became a popular title in our lives. Back in the early 2000’s, The “Suite Life of Zack and Cody“ and “The Suite Life on Deck” on Disney Channel became popular household names. Today, the twins are grown up and are off to better things. Dylan Sprouse released the movie “Dismissed” in October 2017. Cole plays the popular role of Jughead Jones in “Riverdale”, coming back to filming after a several year hiatus, along with his brother. Another TV show we have been watching recently is “This is Us”. Mandy Moore (Rebecca) has a long past of movies and TV shows,
including “Grey’s Anatomy”, and much more. Last but not least, we have “The Office”. Ellie Kemper, the actress of Erin Hannon, has come back into filming with her new Netflix show, “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”. Next time you have nothing to do, curl up on the couch and watch a TV show! (Photo credit CreativeCommons)
