Vic Love, Features Editor
Vic Love is a senior at Grant Community Highschool. Vic began her journalistic career when she became a journalist and editor for Features this year. As a journalist and editor for The Bark publication, Vic desires to shed light on the POC(person of color) population at Grant Community Highschool. She wishes to be a voice to students who cannot use a voice of their own and give them a platform. She will work hard to accomplish this goal. Aside from The Bark publication, Vic is the president of Grant Community Highschool’s BSU(black student union) as well as the president of Literary Magazine at Grant Community Highschool. When Vic is not being involved with school she works at Buffalo Wild Wings in Round Lake Beach, IL to help her family. All in all, Vic is most passionate about broadcasting the voice of the people. She wants to let the world hear what everyone has to say and wants to give people a safe haven to use their voice when they feel like they cannot. Upon finishing high school, Vic plans to work towards becoming a counselor and plans to study the field of psychology. Vic wants to continue to help people in any way that she can for the entirety of her life.
