Whether it’s real Uggs or fake knock-offs from Tiktok shop, Uggs have taken Grant by storm. Everywhere you look, somebody is walking the hallways of GCHS with a pair of Uggs on their feet. With the hundreds of different types of Uggs and the endless ways to style them, the possibilities are endless and the Ugg trend will continue to spread throughout Grant.

Popularity
Uggs are all over the school, and according to an Instagram poll, almost 60% of Grant Students wear Uggs daily. A Grant Community High School sophomore named Jiada Jefferson explains why she wears them every day: “They are extremely comfortable and match with every single one of my outfits.”

Social Media
Social media has also heavily influenced Uggs’s popularity by consistently posting new trendy outfits to pair them with. On Instagram alone, 949,000 posts have “#Uggs” within their description. This influx of content on everyone’s social media has influenced the rate at which people wear these shoes. The students of Grant are a reflection of current trends going on throughout the world, and Uggs made its impact on the students at GCHS!
