Striking into the Sport:
Despite only bowling competitively for two years, Senior, Matt Auckland has established himself as one of the best bowlers in the NLCC. “I used to only bowl like once a year, but a couple summers ago I started going a lot with my friends… Eventually, I started getting good and I wasn’t in a winter sport, so I said, “why not?” This year, Matt is utilized as the anchor on varsity, which is the last player to bowl at a meet and is arguably the most crucial position on the team. Matt also plans to bowl at the University of Nebraska next winter.
